Turkey Dash - November 27, 2025 9:00 a.m. - Avon High School
The Foundation’s annual family-friendly 5k run/walk, the Turkey Dash, is held on Thanksgiving morning every year at Avon High School.
Over 1500 runners, walkers, and spectators join together to move in support of financial aid for breast cancer survivors right here in Northeast and Northwest Ohio.
The first 1,300 registered participants receive a Turkey Dash race sweatshirt, and pumpkin pie, coffee, hot chocolate, water, and fruit are available at the finish line for everyone.
Awards are given to the top 3 male and female winners along with medals for the top 3 finishers in each age bracket
(9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24,… 75-79, 80+.)
The annual Turkey Dash is a great family-friendly tradition to give thanks for your own health and support the health of others, and you are home in plenty of time to baste the turkey!
The Turkey Dash has raised over $500,000 in the last 22 years for our mission.
